WHAT I BUILT
DIY builders hand a business owner a blank canvas and forty hours of their weekend. agencies hand them a quote and a three month timeline. nostedt sites sits in the gap: a built-for-you site on a flat monthly plan, live in days, cancel whenever.
a single cloudflare worker serves the marketing site, the customer dashboard, the JSON API, and every published customer site, routed by hostname. content lives in D1, images in R2. adding a customer costs one row, not one deployment.
the difference from wix or wordpress: each site has its own editor brain. "add a page for our new service", "update the hours", "make the homepage mention the summer sale". the instruction is drafted against the real block model, the owner approves, it publishes.
a page is an ordered array of typed blocks: hero, features, gallery, testimonial, cta, contact, and a raw html escape hatch. edits land in draft, and nothing is public until publish copies the whole site live. an agent can drive the entire thing through the API without opening the dashboard.
the biggest fear a small business has about moving a website is losing their email. we never touch nameservers: one DNS record points the site here, cloudflare for saas issues the certificate, and the mail keeps flowing. leaving takes the domain with you.
