a repair shop on railway ave in rathwell, manitoba, that also happens to be the local compustar and icom dealer. the old site sold five boxes and hid the business. this one leads with the shop.

the old squarespace site opened with a five-product grid and add-to-cart buttons. buried on the about page was the real story: n3 is a repair shop first, and the products came later. the rebuild leads with the shop and puts the gear underneath it.
the about copy was unedited squarespace placeholder text calling n3 "a leader in the automotive industry." every product description was empty. the about photo was ai-generated and the building sign in it read the wrong company name. none of that survived.
a remote start needs a fitment check and a radio needs programming, so selling either blind produces returns and bad installs. checkout was replaced with a fitment-first quote flow, and every old product url redirects to its new page.
a two-way radio is voice between two people. a 2-way remote start is a fob that gets confirmation back from the vehicle. same phrase, unrelated products, and the old site never said so. the new one does, in plain language.
the shop fits in-cab mobiles and external antennas, and the antenna does more for range than the radio does. that work had no mention anywhere. it is now its own section and its own nav item.
a scroll-scrubbed sequence: a farmer keys a radio in a tractor cab, the signal crosses a field at dusk, it reaches the truck. the copy carries the argument the picture cannot: cell service quits at the field edge, a radio does not care, and n3 fits it.
three generated clips joined with real crossfades, sampled to 64 frames and painted to a canvas. scroll position picks the frame, so scrubbing backwards reverses exactly instead of jittering. 1.1 mb, no animation library.
the radio wavefront is drawn on the ground plane, anchored to the footage's vanishing point, with radius following real perspective falloff. flat arcs in screen space read as a sticker pasted on video, and this audience scrolls slowly.
reduced motion and no-js both collapse the whole thing to a still with the headline already resolved, so the phone number is never trapped behind an animation.
