great horn construction.

a family-run renovation contractor in winnipeg and headingley. the job was to make a real crew sound like themselves online, and to make the site something the owner can actually keep current.

great horn construction website

WHAT I DID

copy that sounds like the crew

the homepage leads on the thing homeowners are actually afraid of: the renovation that stalls, the price that climbs, the crew that stops showing up. the page answers that directly instead of opening with stock language about excellence.

page builds in their CMS

the site runs on the client's existing platform, so the work was done natively in its slide builder rather than bolted on. that keeps every section editable by the owner after handoff instead of locked inside something only I can touch.

the photo pipeline

real job photos come in by email from the crew. they get stripped of GPS metadata, resized, and placed into the gallery pages. a recurring, repeatable job rather than a one-time build.

google business profile

the business profile is part of the site, not separate from it: photos kept current, details aligned with the website, and the listing treated as the front door most local customers actually arrive through.

analytics that answer questions

GA4 wired up so the question "did the website bring anyone in this month" has an answer, rather than being a matter of opinion.

built to be handed over

the owner runs the business, not a website. everything is set up so the common changes, new photos, new services, updated hours, do not require a developer.
